PALM Sunday see the beginning of Holy Week when we reflect on the passion of Jesus.
After three years of going where he wanted to, he is now lead along the path of death by others.
Palm Sunday derives its name from the palm branches that were waved by the crowds of people and strewn in the path of Jesus as he entered Jerusalem for the Passover riding on a donkey...
THE Gospel scene this morning depicts an angry Jesus with a whip in his hand.
This image of Jesus doesn’t sit well with our romanticised image of gentle Jesus, meek and mild.
It seems so out of character with what we know of Jesus
from the rest of the Gospels.
Jesus at the Temple

IN life we all see things from a certain perspective,
coloured by our life experiences
that may very well prevent us
from seeing things clearly.
We all form certain opinions of events
and other people based on how we see them, and sometimes
how we see them, and our opinions of them can be mistaken.
