MANY of us had family members who served in the armed services.
I remember seeing photos of these family members in uniform
but nothing was ever spoken about their experiences.
THE 4th Sunday after Easter each year, is always Good Shepherd Sunday as the gospel exalts Jesus, as 'the Good Shepherd.'
There are many important things emphasised in this reading. Here are just a few:
HAPPY Easter! our feast of the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
But what does “resurrection” mean?
If I were to ask you to define it, how would you?
...early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. 2 They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. 3 So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. Luke 24:1-4- The Resurrection
